A stout Final between the new No. 1 Jordy Smith and event standout Griffin Colapinto provided early fireworks before patience played the ultimate factor. Smith's 8.50 all but secured his win as Colapinto was left waiting for a wave to catch Smith as time expired after besting both Colapinto brothers on the way to the podium. This notes Smith's second win of the 2025 season heading back to Lower Trestles where he won in 2016.
